so ive been super busy...

...but here are some of my favorites of a more personal nature

...you see hubby and i were also invited to the wedding, and there were a couple of pictures that the bride wanted me to be in so luckily i had two of my photography buddies there to help me with the wedding and take these pictures :)

and im putting away my christmas tree...

its twinkly lights make me happy and im a little sad to see it go for the year but its time

but first a look at all my pretty packages wrapped under this tree...

i used wrapping and packing paper and ribbon and twine from the dollar tree

my favorite gift i gave this year (and probably may favorite gift i ever gave) was to my husband

getting him presents is tricky because he doesnt really want or need anything and he doesnt want you to get him something just to get him something...i had to get creative

i saw this post a while back and thought it was super cute

but instead of rootbeer i used beer because hubbers loves beer

originally i was going to go here to get single beers but they dont have a huge selection and i wanted to get ones that he had never had

then a coworker told me about this place and they have a whole giant aisle, both sides, of make your own 6 pack!!! they probably have every beer in the world its crazy!

they also had little descriptions of each beer so i stealthily took pictures of each (thank g for camera phones) and made up a little taste chart

anyway i think hubby really liked it because he is "saving them" because they are "special" and alcohol doesnt usually last very long in this house...

one year ago today...

the love of my life asked me to marry him!

this is the beautiful ring he picked out for me ♥

we were watching this movie and wrapping presents and it was a total surprise!

...i actually was kind of expecting it at christmas time, but i thought it would be christmas morning

some updates

well the biggest update is that my lovely husband has joined the navy

well...we joined the navy i guess

he is going to be a hospital corpsman and he leaves in the spring

im both excited and nervous about this new stage of our lives and i cant wait to see what the future will bring!

we both got a "property of us navy" shirt (which i find totally hysterical btw),

but im thinking i should get some of these:

but...lets be honest, these are much more my style:

another update is that my photography website and blog are in the works!

hopefully ill have some time to finish them up soon!

also! i still havent finished all my posts on the wedding and i still have the honeymoon to post about!

and i did do my november 10 (well..not all of them) but for some reason all of the pictures were taken on someone elses camera

so im off to harass some people for pictures :)

Finally...

well it's been OVER three months and i'm FINALLY posting some wedding pictures!!!!!

here is just a grouping of my favorite ones, i'll have more specific wedding details to come

it was a lot of work, super stressful, and so much fun!

...pretty much the best day of my life :)

i was going to do a post today about my hunny bunny cause i love him so so very much

he asked me not to

so i'll post what we ate the other night:

i loooove breakfast! the only thing better than breakfast....
