new sneaks!

so hubby is going to be running a half marathon in about a month and his sneakers were literally falling apart so we went to the store to get some new ones

i just went for fun and to spend time with him but...

when i told brian that i liked these ones he told me to try them on...and then bought them for me!

i just love my husband ♥


can i tell you a secret...these are my first real pair of sneaks

...im serious

i mean, ive had cheer shoes before (lots of them) and tennis shoes, but no real sneakers for running and working out and such (though thats probably because i dont do any of the former and not much of the later ha!)

anyways its terribly exciting (especially since theyre pink) and they make me want to go to the gym

which is good.

because i need to.

well, maybe not wrong, but certainly different, though i must say...i think my way looks better

the shoes were blue tux...their website seems to have disappeared...hmm...

the shoes are dye-able so im thinking about dying them black so i might actually wear them again instead of sit in the closet for all of eternity

we didn't like the sash on the that came with the dress so we bought a satin ribbon

the brooch was originally intended for my hair, but when i found that headband i knew it was perfect and the brooch ended up on the sash which just completed the look ♥

return of the saltwater sandals

I had these beauties when i was little...i think they were a hand-me-down from a cousin or friend of the family and i loved them! 
and heres my new pair! my reinfacuation with these began about 4-5 years ago when a friend of mine in high school got a white pair and i really wanted the iridescent light pink ones
but i soon forgot about them while other things moved to the top of my "i need those" list until more recently when i saw them in the new sunrise leather by my house
i debated for months over weather i should get the red or blue (i liked the red better, but the blue seemed more practical) in the end the blue just looked better on my feet...and at $5 off who could resist? theyre super cute and comfy and you know what?
i absolutely love them!

(actually i believe ive worn them everyday since i bought them!)
